The fascinating, unique pieces in RAINER BRENNER‘s Charlott Collection have quite a special history: a Frankfurt based client presented company founder Rainer Brenner with a rare vintage lace fabric he had been selling over decades. Brenner asked renowned Italian specialist for premium quality cellulose acetate, Mazzucchelli, to cast the lace in acetate slabs.
He then designed Sixties-inspired cat-eye frames, which he had hand-made by an eyewear manufacturer in rural Hessia. The raw materials and the sensual lace fabrics created inimitable individual items with a singular extravagant look. Unique, sensual frames that make a confident, feminine statement, quite literally amalgamating vintage and contemporary style.
